Making Bread!
This is our outcome!!!

 Now lets tell you how we got here.

"First, we laid out the ingredients."

 "Then, we labelled them because we are learning about non-fiction text."  

 "Next, we wrote a caption." 

 "After we read the instruction." 

  "Later we started measuring our ingredients to make bread!" 

 "Then put the ingredients in a bowl." 

"Then we added all the other ingredients like yeast, flour, butter, sugar and salt!"

"Then we mixed up everything!  It was fun!"

"And then we measured water and added it to our bowl."

"Look, its bubbly!"

2 in 1!

Two Celebrations in One Day

Today, we joined our community and had two very important and special celebrations.

We joined in to celebrate war veterans and their families.  Our entire school had a ‘2 minute silence' in remembrance of the fallen heroes at 11am.

We also celebrated Diwali (Festival of Light) today as a school.  In Year 1, we made Rangoli patterns after research some on the computer.

We also designed our own Mehndi patterns in celebration of Diwali.
