Two Celebrations in One Day
Today, we joined our community and had two very important and
special celebrations.
We joined in to celebrate war veterans and their families. Our entire school had a ‘2 minute silence' in
remembrance of the fallen heroes at 11am.
We also celebrated Diwali (Festival of Light) today as a school. In Year 1, we made Rangoli patterns after research some on the computer.
We also designed our own Mehndi patterns in celebration of Diwali.
